There will soon be a fourth childcare center on the campus of Portland State University. Baby Vikings is scheduled to open in mid-May and will cater exclusively to babies and young toddlers, ages 6 weeks to 2 and one half years old. There will be four full-time spots and four flexible short term spots. Baby Vikings is open to faculty, staff, and students.
Visit or click on the FAQs for more information on Baby Vikings.

Click Here to enter the lottery for full time care. The lottery drawing will be held on May 1, 2018. Recipients of a space will be notified on May 1 and have 24 hours to respond and claim the space before we move onto the next person on the list. Preference will be given to parents who need care beginning in mid-May and continuing through the summer. We will also give preference to younger children (under 18 months of age) as we want to have stability in the group, so are seeking children similar in age who can "grow" together.

If you would like to see the space, understanding it is a work in process, you can peek in the windows at the former Spirit Store, across from the University Market in SMSU.

While we are thrilled about the opening of Baby Vikings, We don't have a budget to fund this new space, so we've put together a small wish list for items we'd like to add. Although this is an Amazon wish list, you don't have to donate these specific items, they are just suggestions. If you have similar gently used items to donate, that would be great! Amazon Wish List
