Adam Booth, Geology faculty, was awarded $7,466 from the USGS-PSU Partnership for “Deciphering the Influence of Surface-Water and Groundwater Exchange on Active Slow-Moving Landslide Velocity.” Booth will be working with Hank Johnson, USGS Oregon Water Science Center, and Stephen B. Gingerich, USGS Oregon Water Science Center. The team will be studying the interactions among surface water, groundwater and ground deformation of slow-moving landslides.
