Catalyzed by funding from the Renaissance Foundation, Impact Entrepreneurs' Entrepreneurial Leaders Program strengthens social change organizations from within by providing executive training to their emerging leaders. Carolyn McKnight and two other PSU SBA professors are currently in Istanbul, Turkey delivering core MBA courses to 33 Mercy Corps staff members from 19 countries. This will be the ELP’s third cohort with Mercy Corps. “Our team members are our greatest asset,” said Mignon Mazique Mercy Corps Executive Counselor, “investing in their skills creates stronger programs on the ground in places like Afghanistan that are dealing with some of the world’s toughest challenges.” Local corporations like The Standard are also tapping into the leadership training program for their managers.
