Social Sustainability Colloquium | Sustainable Activism: The Hanford Nuclear Reservation
Friday, January 18, 2013 - 2:00pm to Friday, January 18, 2013 - 4:00pm

Join us Friday, Jan 18, to explore using place-based education to facilitate the clean-up of one of the most toxic sites in the world through University and Community partnership!

Laura Feldman is a 2nd year graduate student in the Leadership for Sustainability Education program at PSU, and a Hanford activist. During her time in the program, she explored how activism and sustainability education can combine to address one of the most pressing environmental crises in the Cascadia bioregion—the clean-up of wastes at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation.
