At Portland State University, staff in a number of departments help plan, develop and manage the university's real estate. Every day, keys are made and issued, light bulbs are replaced, equipment is repaired, heating or cooling is adjusted, space planning is done for a department and employees are shown how to help decrease PSU's environmental footprint. High quality work is performed all across campus in a professional non-obtrusive manner so learning, teaching and research can occur without interruption and in a comfortable environment.
Planning, Construction and Real Estate (PCRE) at PSU consists of the following four departments:
- Facilities & Property Management (FPM)
- Capital Projects & Construction (CPC)
- Campus Planning Office (CPO)
- Campus Sustainability Office (CSO)

My colleagues and I look forward to serving the PSU community and continuing to create a campus that fosters academic success.
