Martin Streck, Geology faculty, received a three-year $325,769 grant from the National Science Foundation to study magma dynamics leading to the lavas of the Columbia River Basalt Group, the greatest basalt outpourings that the Pacific NW has experienced in the geological past. Streck will be working with collaborators.
