Why are clinical trials important? Are clinical trials safe? What is expected of me as a clinical trial participant? Heidi Printz Ph.D., will discuss how carefully conducted clinical trials are the safest and fastest way to find treatments that work in people and new ways to improve health. Printz is division manager of the women’s health research unit at Oregon Health & Science University, Center for Women’s Health.
