The lecture titled: "The Will to Know: Foucault, Proust, Psychoanalysis, Godard," presented by Leo Bersani, Emeritus Professor of French at the University of California, Berkeley, will discuss Foucault's history of subjectivity in the West, in particular, the conflict between knowledge and "care of the self" in the constitution of the subject.
