Amy Lubitow recieved her Ph.D in Sociology at Northeastern University in 2011. Her interest areas are environmental sociology, social movements, gender, and chemical policy and regulations in the US. Her projects have included the influence of scientist-activist collaboration in environmental policy realms, Social movement efforts to regulate the chemical BPA, and the influence of pinkwashing on the American breast cancer experience.
