Social Sustainability Colloquim: Global Civil Society: Finding Collective Voice in Diversity
Friday, December 7, 2007 - 1:00pm to Friday, December 7, 2007 - 3:00pm
"Global Civil Society: Finding Collective Voice in Diversity," a discussion by Kristen Magis, The Leadership Institute.

Global Civil Society's (GCS) ability to effect international change, despite its diversity, raises the question: how do disparate civil society groups cross multiple divides to collaborate on shared objectives? Utilizing a Grounded Theory approach, extensive GCS expert information was analyzed to produce the Convergence System. Translated into practice, this enables GCS coalitions to take effective action in the international arena.
