Janelle Quibuyen and is a Filipina-American graphic designer & artist telling stories centered around her personal experience as a child of Ilokano working-class immigrants and the greater Filipino diaspora. Her bold yet simple graphic illustrations aim to reveal underrepresented and obscure socio-historical events and topics. She is always rooting for the underdog. And she really likes dogs, especially her tiny 7-year old pitbull mastiff.
As a social media and content marketing specialist, she directs creativity to build and implement strategic digital campaigns that build communities and drive brand loyalty. My expertise has been crafted by managing and growing her clientele’s social media presence over the past 7 years. And maybe longer if you want to include her toughest, longest-running client (herself) from when she first learned how to code her own website from scratch in 1997.
