"Lincoln: A Novel Life" reading by author and PSU Professor - Tony Wolk
Friday, February 11, 2005 - 7:00pm
Tony Wolk, professor of English at Portland State University, will read from his novel Lincoln: A Novel Life and also talk about his current writing projects, as a part of PSU's Millar Library's Artists and Writers series. This book is the first publication from Portland State's Ooligan Press.

Wolk's novel tells the story of Abraham Lincoln, suddenly transported from the last days of the Civil War to Evanston, IL, circa 1955. In his brief respite from his duties as president, Lincoln experiences the century he helped define, finds love, and learns something of his own death before returning to his own time in 1865.

Portland State University's Millar Library, 2nd floor (1875 S.W. Park Ave.)

Admission is free and open to the public. Donations of canned food for the Oregon Food Bank can be made at the door.
