Japanese Kyogen Comedy in English
Thursday, June 9, 2011 - 7:00pm to Thursday, June 9, 2011 - 9:00pm

WHERE:  Lincoln Hall Studio Theatre (115 LH)

Enjoy the antics of Taro Kaja, the clever unruly servant, in three short plays. Taro is officially under the command of the master of the house, but he always figures out a way to trick his superiors and get what he wants.

Kyogen is Japan's classical style of comedy, comparable to Europe's commedia del'arte, and presents broad, physical and vocal humor.

Admission is FREE. The show is presented by the students of JPN 422/522 under the direction of Larry Kominz, with the support of the PSU Center for Japanese Studies.
