Immerse yourself for a two week intensive in Guanajuato, Mexico, a UNESCO World Heritage city, rich with Pre-Colombian, Colonial, and Revolutionary history. A contemporary and historical look into printmaking, art, and culture will be examined during studio time, andexperiential outings to local shops, museums, and galleries.
Monoprint, Drypoint, Pronto plate and Relief block printmaking techniques will be explored as well as mixed media modes of art making. Class time will be spent primarily in the studio, and on field trips to neighboring towns, villages, museums, and galleries.
