Join La Casa Latina, the Women’s Resource Center, and the Chicano-Latino Studies Program in celebrating International Women’s Day! Draw inspiration from Frida Kahlo’s legacy to create your own jewelry, get crafty or capture the moment in the “empowerment booth.” Featuring a student open mic!

Frida Kahlo is one of the most important artists of the 20th century. This event celebrates the feminist values that define Frida’s legacy. PSU is a diverse school with various students from different socioeconomic backgrounds. We will celebrate this through creative avenues: open-mic and slam poetry, and crafts. This event honors artists dedication to social justice, leadership, and engagement. As part of the celebrations for Women’s Heritage Month!
