About the Film

The film will be in French, with English subtitles. A l’an vert follows a group of four Quebecois who left the region of Quebec for British Columbia, where French is the mother tongue of 62,000 people, and their quest for a more sustainable and responsible way of life, thus bridging Quebec’s environmental approach to that of its English-speaking Canadian Other.
