Community Mental Health for returning Veterans

For educators, providers and other care professionals

Learn to identify and treat combat-related mental health problems, and work more effectively with veterans, their families and support systems. Participants will be able to:

  • Recognize the most commonly occurring mental health proglems of returning soldiers
  • Enhance treatment by using evidence-based approaches
  • Deepen understanding of issues and interventions for the families of returning vets
  • Identify available community and institutional resources that facilitate reintegration
  • Understand the social impact of reintegration
