Coastal Camping

Travel across time with the ODP through the history of the Oregon Coast on this oceanside camping trip. At Ecola State Park, we will take in the lush, temperate rainforest of the coast, the stellar ocean views, and immerse ourselves in the area’s rich history. After a night camping in fresh ocean air, we’ll explore Fort Stevens State Park and learn about the colonization of the Columbia River estuary and visit the remains of a hundred-year-old shipwreck from the era. And nothing says PNW more than setting foot on the most north-western tip of Oregon. This trip is designed for all abilities and for all participants and can be easily modified to accommodate disabilities. The trip cost includes transportation, trip leaders, meals, and all necessary equipment. For more information, visit pdx.edu/recreation/outdoor-programs-trip-schedule.
