Carnegie Conversation: "A Vision of Students Today; Academia 2.0"
Thursday, February 26, 2009 - 3:00pm to Thursday, February 26, 2009 - 5:00pm

Is cyberspace advancing learning?

Are lectures and textbooks becoming obsolete?

Kansas State University students recently produced a bold video depicting the gap they experience between how information is used and communicated in their lives and how they experience its use in the classroom. The Center for Academic Excellence invites you to view this video, "A Vision of Students Today," along with its companion video produced by Kansas State faculty, "Academia 2.0," then join your colleagues in a lively discussion on what this gap means for student learning and faculty teaching practices.

Join the conversation. We want to hear your experience.
