Black Bag Speaker Series

The Black Bag Speaker Series 2007 is starting up. Our next event is
February 21st, Wednesday, from 12noon to 1:30 in the MultiCultural
Center in Smith Memorial. Please see and distribute the attached flyer.

Over the next several months we will be inviting various local
organizations and individuals to Portland State University to speak on
issues of health, immigration and education and their intersection
with issues of race.

We hope to have in attendance not only interested students and faculty, but
all people who want to participate in a discussion on critical issues
impacting Black people in Portland, Or. Your attendance is much appreciated.
This event will be catered.

Our next event is March 7 and will focus on the work of Africa House
in Portland, Oregon.
