Immaculate ConceptionSilvano

Martha Silano is the author of three poetry collections: What the Truth Tastes Like, Blue Positive, and The Little Office of the Immaculate Conception. She is widely published in anthologies and magazines, including The Best American Poetry 2009, Paris Review, TriQuarterly, AGNI, and American Poetry Review. She has received a variety of grants and residencies. Silano teaches at Bellevue College.


Nine Simple Patternsrechner

Mary Rechner′s fiction has appeared in publications including Kenyon Review, Washington Square, and Propeller Quarterly. She won an Oregon Literature Fellowship in 2006. Nine Simple Patterns for Complicated Women is her first book. Rechner is the director of Literary Arts' Writers in the Schools.
