Portland State University is hosting Bridges 2004 - an
annual open house for high school students from ethnically diverse
backgrounds who are exploring college opportunities. Bridges offers a series of lectures, seminars and tours designed to provide students with essential information needed to make informed decisions about attending college. An estimated 500 students are expected to attend the event.
Friday, December 3, 2004, 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.
Portland State University's Peter Stott Center (930 SW Hall).
The event is free and open to all high school students considering college. Registration is required. Students can register for Bridges on the Web, www.pdx.edu/admissions/bridges.html, by e-mail,

Students who attend Bridges will become more familiar with the processes involved in applying, attending and completing study at Portland State. Bridges provides students an opportunity to explore many academic interests, meet PSU students and staff, and discover what Portland State University has to offer.
