All-Steinway Concert Kicks Off 2007 PSU Weekend

Portland State's School of Fine and Performing Arts presents a gala concert in celebration of its All-Steinway School status. The concert kicks off PSU Weekend, the annual event that welcomes alumni, friends and the greater Portland community to campus.

The program ranges from classical piano repertoire and contemporary Chinese selections to jazz. Jazz Studies professor Darrell Grant will swing with PSU's outstanding jazz students. Advanced piano students will perform, and this year a featured alumnus, guest artist and composer Brad Mersereau '73, will appear.
