Dr. Hector Cruz-Feliciano has a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an M.A. from Illinois State University. In Guatemala, he served as a Peace Corps volunteer working with indigenous communities. He has taught at the University of Puerto Rico, Thomas More University in Nicaragua, and the Pontificia Universidad Catslica de Chile. His current research interest is the relationship between neo-liberalism, poverty, and indebtedness in developing countries. Dr. Cruz-Feliciano is currently the CIEE Resident Director in Managua, Nicaragua.
