About Guest Speakers

The Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) is a U.S. State Department-sponsored leadership and civic engagement training program for undergraduate community leaders from Algeria, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia, and West Bank and Gaza. These incredible student leaders are hosted by PSU to study conflict resolution, community leadership, and democratic institutions, while developing a plan for a civic engagement project that they will implement upon return to their own communities (photo above is of former MEPI student leaders).
