Suspicious package delivered to the Market Center Building

At approximately 12:00 pm on Thursday, the Campus Public Safety Office received a report from the PSU Human Resources office, located on the fifth floor of the Market Center building, of a suspicious package delivered by U.S. mail.

As outlined in safety protocols, the Portland Police and Portland Fire Department were called to investigate the package. All precautions were taken to protect the safety of people in the building.

At approximately 1:50 pm, the Portland Fire Department announced there was no danger and departed. The matter is under investigation.
