John Hall, Economics and International Studies faculty, organized a panel, The Policy Relevance of Institutional Economics: Papers in Honor of Paul Dale Bush, at the American Economic Association meeting in Denver, Jan. 6-9. He also presented the co-authored paper "Claiming Paul David's Path Dependence as Institutionalist Theory," presided over the panel Economic Development and Institutional Change, and hosted the recipient of the James H. Street Award, Carlos Aguiar de Medeiros of Brazil's Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
