Since 2011, Dr. Eddy White has been the Assessment Coordinator at the University of Arizona’s Center for English as a Second Language (CESL). He is also an Associate Professor in the College of Humanities. He has been a teacher trainer since 2006, which has included publishing, presenting, and teaching courses about assessment. His primary areas of teaching, research and interest are teacher-made testing, summative assessment, proficiency testing, and promoting assessment literacy in the language teaching profession.  Most recently, in 2018 he conducted a training PCI at the TESOL International Conference, called, Best Practices in Classroom Assessment: What Every Teacher Should Know. He is also co-editing a book in 2018 called Assessment Literacy and Teacher-made Testing in the Language Classroom. He also co-founded the CALT Conference in 2016.
