For many years Portland was Bicycling Magazine's number one city for biking in North America. And then Minneapolis won that distinction. Ian Stude, Portland State University Transportation Options manager, went to investigate and plans to talk about what he saw and what "Portland can learn from our snowy friends to the East."
So bring your lunch for a brown bag with Stude Thursday, Aug. 19 from noon to 1 p.m. at PSU Urban Center Plaza: College of Urban & Public Affairs, 506 SW Mill Street. (Parson's Gallery, Room 212).
The Bicycle Brown Bag Series is a monthly event.
