This course is an amazing opportunity to spend 9 beautiful days exploring earth, self, and community in the rainforest of Costa Rica, immersed in regenerative practices at Rancho Mastatal. This is truly a time to slow down, retreat, and engage in deep learning.

We'll learn first-hand about regenerative earth-care projects by exploring a tropical ecosystem and engaging with the site’s many permaculture projects including gardens and natural buildings. We'll engage in regenerative self-care practices through stories, daily reflection, guided contemplative activities, and discussion of the course book, The more beautiful world our hearts know is possible.  We'll also have daily time for journaling, sit spots, and movement such as swimming, and walking. Morning yoga and 3 delicious locally-procured meals a day will also contribute to our regenerative practice.  We’ll learn about people-care and social and cultural regeneration through involvement with local people, an indigenous tribe, and local food traditions. We’ll also learn about regenerative economic systems by exploring local microbusinesses.
