Undergraduate

Portland State University operates on a quarter system, meaning our academic year is broken up into fall, winter, spring, and summer term. It takes 180 credits to obtain a bachelor's degree at PSU, obtained through a combination of coursework in your major, the University Studies program, your Bachelor of Arts or Science requirements, and electives. Education minors are not required for admission into PSU's Graduate Teacher Education (GTEP) program, they do include all the prerequisites for admission to the program.
