The Portland State University Alumni Association (PSUAA), in partnership with departments across PSU, present a monthly panel series designed to provide insight on some of Portland’s most topical issues and successful industries: Food Deserts, Athletic & Outdoor, Self-Driving Cars, & Design Thinking.

For the fourth event, PSU Alumni Association partners with PSU’s Center for Executive and Professional Education (CEPE) to present an insightful panel on Design Thinking.

Design Thinking is a human-centered way for businesses to solve problems and spark innovation, allowing them to better understand customers and assess their needs. Design Thinking can help any business initiate strategy, design, and development around an end user or customer. Join our panel of industry experts who will speak to:

  • What is Design Thinking?
  • How Design Thinking relates to Innovation
  • The Importance of Design Thinking in Business
  • Strategies for Implementation
