Advisory Council

The Cultural Resource Centers Advisory Council (CRCAC) is composed of two student Co-Chairs, five student members, two staff/faculty members, and two community members. Members work collaboratively to incorporate student voice to develop a strategic plan that guides the vision and furthers the mission of the Cultural Resource Centers. This is a great opportunity to develop leadership skills and connect with diverse communities at PSU and assist in developing ideas that contribute to the student experience. Programming Team

The Cultural Resource Centers (CRC) Programming Team is part of the Educational Learning Service Award program at Portland State University. Team members work in collaboration with CRC staff and stakeholders to plan, promote and deliver programs, services and events that fulfill the mission of the CRC and support student-centered communities at Portland State University. Administrative Assistant

This Federal Work Study position is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of administrative duties such as website content creation and management, HR assistance, and supporting professional staff members with events and programs for all of the Cultural Resource Centers (La Casa Latina Student Center, the Multicultural Student Center, the Native American Student & Community Center, Asian American/Asian/Pacific Islander Student Center, and the African American/African/Black Student Center).

Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator

This Federal Work Study position is responsible for creating and distributing marketing materials (print and digital) across multiple networks for all three of the Cultural Resource Centers (La Casa Latina Student Center, the Multicultural Student Center, the Native American Student & Community Center, Asian American/Asian/Pacific Islander Student Center, and the African American/African/Black Student Center).

Native American Student and Community Center Receptionist

The Native American Student & Community Center (NASCC) employs PSU Federal Work Study students to fill Student Worker positions. These students have excellent customer service skills, event logistics experience, and assist with the day-to-day responsibilities at the NASCC. This position provides a great opportunity to develop leadership skills and connect with the Native American, Alaskan Native, and Pacific Islander Community at PSU and in Portland. Indigenous Rooftop Gardener

The Native American Student & Community Center (NASCC) employs PSU Federal Work Study students to fill Indigenous Rooftop Gardener positions. These students have garden and landscape maintenance skills and assist with the day-to-day responsibilities of the NASCC Rooftop Garden and Deer Walk. The students are mentored and taught how to use indigenous practices. This position provides a great opportunity to develop leadership skills and connect with the Native American, Alaskan Native,/ and Pacific Islander Community at PSU and in Portland. Native American Student and Community Center Student Programming Assistant

This position is responsible for supporting the Native American Students and Community Center (NASCC) Program Coordinator in planning and facilitating events. This position provides a great opportunity to develop leadership skills and connect with the Native American, Alaskan Native, and Pacific Islander Community at PSU and in Portland. Cultural Resource Centers Student Receptionist

The Cultural Resource Center's Receptionists are Federal Work Study students with excellent customer service skills who assist with the day-to-day responsibilities in the La Casa Latina Student Center, the Multicultural Student Center, the Asian American/Asian/Pacific Islander Student Center, and the African American/African/Black Student Center. This is a great opportunity to develop leadership skills and connect with diverse communities at PSU.
