Emergency & Crisis

Counseling Services staff are available to assist any student experiencing a mental health emergency or faculty/staff working with a student in distress. 

During SHAC hours of operation call 503.725.2800, or come to SHAC at the corner of SW 6th & Hall. Same-day walk-in appointments are available Monday - Friday. These appointments are intended for students having an urgent mental health need. Students can request a walk-in appointment for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to: having serious thoughts of hurting themselves or others, immediate safety concerns, recent physical or sexual assault, or are hearing/seeing things that others are not.
