Attempt Kidnapping

On 04/28/19 at 3:55 pm, Portland Police was dispatched to the area of SW 10th and Columbia regarding a possible attempted kidnapping which reportedly happened near the south side of Smith Memorial Student Union.

The victim, who is a non student stated a known person, attempted to force them to go with the suspect. The victim was able to flee from the suspect and called the police from an off campus location. 

The suspect is described by the victim as a white male, approximately 50 yrs of age with shoulder length dirty blond hair, wearing a black jacket.  Portland Police and CPSO Officers checked the area. The suspect was not located. Portland Police Bureau is investigating the incident.
