The Oregon Innovation Award

The Oregon Innovation Award recognizes the active pursuit of public service breakthrough innovation through collaborative partnerships between one or more public service organizations and the Hatfield School of Government’s Center for Public Service. It is designed to enable forward-thinking governmental and non-profit organizations to further identify, co-produce and scale-up innovations.

The award provides up to 1,000 hours of consultation and facilitation from CPS faculty and a Hatfield Resident Fellow.  


The RFP for the Oregon Innovation Award was released in January and the winner was announced at the CPS Celebrating Public Service.

 

ABOUT THE AWARD

The Oregon Innovation Award is designed to recognize and honor the active pursuit of public service breakthrough innovation through collaborative partnerships between one or more public service organization(s) and the Hatfield School’s Center for Public Service. The award is designed to enable forward-thinking governmental and non-profit organizations to further identify, co-produce and scale-up breakthrough innovations in their organizations and communities. The Oregon Innovation Award represents an exciting opportunity for CPS to further its vision of “Making an enduring difference in advancing public legitimacy and trust in our public service institutions.”

 

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

The award provides up to 1,000 hours of collaborative consultation and innovation facilitation from CPS faculty and fellows over the course of one year. The next awardee was announced at the 2nd Annual Celebrating Public Service; cocktail reception and awards on April 2, 2016. For more information on this event, click here.
