The Fifth Global “One Hundred Translators” Translation Contest

During August 2020, the Confucius Institute at Portland State University (CIPSU) co-organized the Fifth Global “One Hundred Translators” Translation Contest. The contest involved translating the poem Jiao Wo Ruhe Bu Xiang Ta (教我如何不想她, Tell Me How to Stop Thinking of Her), written by Bannong Liu, a renowned Chinese linguist and poet. A Warm Welcome to New Teachers!

Six new CI teachers (Ying YUAN, Sheguo WANG, Xin LE, Kaining XIAO, Xiaohan ZHANG, Xingjun YI) are arriving at Portland State University just today! As usual, we will meet for the orientation and walk them through the routines about working at CI.A bunch of new CC teachers will be arriving soon.
