Meet the Ana, our newest Advocate in the Healing Roots Program!


The Healing Roots Program is please to introduce Ana Lapite-Cardiel, our new Healing Roots Advocate!


Ana comes to us with an impressive background in social justice.  In 2008, she was an intern at KPFK radio station in Los Angeles, where she worked on the "Beautiful Struggle" show, which informed listeners about global social justice activism. 


Ana is a recent graduate of Portland State University where she earned her Master's Degree in Conflict Resolution.

As of mid-August, Rhea is Restorative Justice Coordinator, Multnomah County Department of Community Justice, Juvenile Services Division

Her work: promotes systems change in the juvenile justice system while developing and implementing restorative justice opportunities for youth and the broader community
