Associate Professors Antonie Jetter and Thomas Schumacher have been selected as seminal recipients of the Wedge Vision Professorships. These new professorships were formed to acknowledge mid-career tenured faculty who are making significant efforts to advance the Maseeh College’s strategic vision. Recipients receive discretionary funds for two years to support their research.  Both Antonie and Thomas are helping to advance several elements of our strategic vision, particularly around sensor arrays, data harvesting, and decision making.  Dr. Jetter received her Ph.D. degree from RWTH Aachen University in Germany and is a faculty member in the Department of Engineering and Technology Management in the Maseeh College.  She does research on technology & innovation management, new product development, knowledge management, and organizational learning. Dr. Schumacher received his Ph.D. degree from Oregon State University and is a faculty member in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering in the Maseeh College. He does research on non-destructive evaluation of civil infrastructure, including the development and application of novel sensor systems.
