This course provides an immersion for students to experientially learn about holistic systems for sustainability and earn Permaculture Design Certification (PDC).  Hosted at an off-grid site in the Peruvian Andes and facilitated by a diverse international team, the course adds emphasis on learning from and about the local indigenous Quechua peoples and the importance of strong social/community relations for sustainable human systems.  Further attention will be given to the personal development of participating students and promoting active thinking about how to apply lessons learned to students’ home communities.
