Ehsan Aryafar

  • Ehsan Aryafar is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Portland State University. Prior to that and from 2013 to 2017, he was a Research Scientist at Intel Labs in Santa Clara, CA. He received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Iran, in 2005, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University, Houston, Texas, in 2007 and 2011, respectively. From 2011 to 2013, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University. His research interests are in the areas of wireless networks and networked systems, and span both algorithm design as well as system prototyping. He has more than 30 issued and pending patents in the areas of mobile and wireless systems.
