CS Advising

Prospective and lower-division CS students 

All prospective CS students and current lower-division undergraduate students who are not admitted to the CS department are advised by the advising team: Jodi Stiegemeyer, Linda Wasson, or Cristina Restad.

  • Location: The Advising Team Offices are located in the Office of Student Services in the Engineering Building (EB), 1930 SW Fourth Ave, in suite 100.

Mandatory Advising

All new undergraduate students are required to receive academic advising during their first year. More info about this required first-year advising appointment is located here. Lower-division CS students can fulfill this mandatory advising requirement by scheduling an appointment with Jodi, Linda, or Cristina by calling 503-725-4631.

 

Current Upper-division students formally admitted to CS Program

Barbara Sabath provides advising to upper-division (junior and senior) students admitted to the Computer Science program

Petitions 

Petitions needing a signature require a 30 minute appointment. Please follow the instructions on the petition and bring the petition form itself to your appointment. Appointments will be canceled and re-scheduled if the student is not prepared.
