Quang Truong is the co-founder and principal of Polytechnica, an interdisciplinary design studio that engages with the arts, engineering, architecture, material science, and philosophy. Prior to the establishment of his own studio, Quang spent over a decade of professional architectural practice in the offices of Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Richard Meier, Steven Holl, and Rick Joy. He is currently writing a book about the use of advanced materials and technology in architecture, such as carbon fiber and FRPs, which will be published by Birkhauser in 2019. Quang studied Art and Engineering at Dartmouth College, received a Master’s in Architecture from Yale University, and is a registered architect in the states of New York and Oregon.
