Confucius Institute at PSU invites you to the Karate Kid movie night! 

Synopsis: Work causes a single mother to move to China with her young son; in his new home, the boy embraces kung fu, taught to him by a master. This film is based on the novel Hawthorn Tree Forever which was written by renowned author Aimi and was inspired by the real-life story of her friend, Jing. Touched by the emotionally charged story, director Zhang Yimou brought this story of heart-wrenching romance to the big screen, giving audiences the chance to experience the true meaning of unfaltering love.
