Whether you are looking for classroom technology support, campus safety information, or research resources, we hope that you will find the information you are seeking on the below links. University Resources

Office of Academic Affairs (OAA): Includes information on university-wide professional development, curriculum, governance, personnel, and administrative support. Includes links to all union contracts.

Human Resources (HR): Includes information on benefits, payroll, time off/leaves, performance evaluations, and union contracts.

Global Diversity & Inclusion: Includes information on Title IX, cultural competency, accessibility resources, and preventing prohibited discrimination and unlawful harassment.

Office of General Counsel: Includes the University Policy Library and information on mandatory reporting.

Academic Resources

PSU Bulletin: Current and archived issues of the General Catalog Issue of Portland State University's Bulletin.

Office of the Registrar: Find information about class scheduling, grading, deadlines, student records privacy, and student record policies.

Millar Library: Library resources for faculty including requesting materials, teaching & classroom support, and publishing & research support. 

Research and Professional Development

Faculty Research Brown Bag: These informal sessions serve as an opportunity for faculty to share their research with colleagues, staff, and students from across the College and the University.

PSU Faculty Expert Database:  The guide includes faculty members' specific areas of expertise and contact information.

CLAS Departmental Research Support Services (DRSS): A unit of Sponsored Projects Administration serving the departments of CLAS

Research & Strategic Partnerships:  provides support to PSU faculty and staff in Research Development, Sponsored Projects Administration, and Research Integrity.

Faculty Development Funding Opportunities: Provides various funding opportunities.

SabbaticalsSabbaticals should be awarded where there are documented academic and scholarly plans for research or scholarship that will enhance the careers and scholarly productivity of the faculty members.


CLAS IT: This site is a resource for faculty and staff of CLAS and has the latest news and information about grants, technology changes, and IT-related initiatives. 

Office of Information Technology (OIT): provides IT support for the university.

Office of Academic Innovation (OAI)provides leadership and support for campus activities that explore and promote excellence in teaching and learning, innovative curricular technology use, and community-based learning. Provides assistance and guidance for course accessibility; offers monthly workshops focused on inclusive teaching practices and creating accessible course material.


Campus Public Safety Office (CPSO)provides emergency response, safety escorts, and patrol services to the campus 24/7.

Office of the Dean of Student Life: oversees the Student Code of Conduct and addresses academic dishonesty and disruptive behavior; convenes the CARE Team that responds to concerns about campus safety or student well-being.

PSU-Alert System: sign up to receive emergency notifications.
