About This Course
Keeping up with today’s rapidly changing digital world is a challenge — even for digital marketing professionals. The ability to deliver compelling, relevant, and effective digital programs requires a comprehensive framework for identifying the most common drivers of digital communications and interactive experiences.

This foundational course provides students with an overview of digital marketing and the customer journey, as well as an introduction to the fundamentals and framework of digital marketing strategies. Students will learn about digital strategies as they relate to modern marketing, developing target personas, branding and its relevance to the digital world, marketing campaigns, personal branding, and more.

What You’ll Learn
Upon completion of this course, students will have gained the knowledge to:

  • Understand the differences and advantages of the most effective digital media/channels;
  • Develop target personas;
  • Create strategies for building a cohesive brand experience across a range of digital touch points;
  • Create a strategy for building a personal brand online.

The Learning Environment
This interactive course is held in person at PSU’s Center for Executive and Professional Education in downtown Portland and typically combines lecture, discussion, and individual and group activities.

Instructor: Corissa Saint Laurent
Corissa Saint LaurentCorissa Saint Laurent has owned and operated two small businesses and led regional development for Constant Contact. She speaks nationally for Google’s Get Your Business Online program. Corissa’s passion is helping people and companies grow, transform, and be the best versions of themselves. She earned a BA in Environmental Analysis and Design from the University of California, Irvine.
