Our application process is designed to respect your time as a busy graduate student. For all programs there is an easy-to-complete online application. Applications open on November 19, 2020 and are due March 31, 2021. Fellowship selections are scheduled to begin in Spring 2021.
About the Application Process
There is a common online application format for each of our Public Service Fellowships. The application is one cohesive process and sectioned into two parts, designed to respect and economize the time of busy graduate students. The first phase is aimed at collecting baseline information. It takes about 5 minutes to complete and ensures that each applicant is qualified for consideration for the program(s) of your choice. This is followed by a short series of essay questions designed to showcase the candidate’s professional motivations, aspirations, experience, and suitability for one of our Fellowships. As part of the application process, applicants will also be asked to include a copy of their current resume or cover letter and one letter of reference.
Those who are selected from this application process will be classified as conditional finalists and listed in the Center's Public Service Oregon Talent Bank ー a marketplace where potential sponsors from across Oregon can connect with finalists to explore possible projects and placements.
Due Date
Application is now closed for the 2021 cohort. Please visit us again in November 2021.
