Documentary: "Campus Diversity, Student Voices"
Author: What does diversity mean for students?
Posted: March 3, 2006

Produced by the University of Michigan, this video explores what diversity means for students by examining the experiences and opinions of both undergraduate and graduate students from a multiplicity of backgrounds, perspectives, and majors. The message that emerges from the video conveys the complex meaning of students' experiences with diversity and the significance of both formal and informal opportunities to learn about and learn from others in the University.

The tape, which includes a discussion guide booklet, provokes thoughtful and informed dialogue about sensitive issues and is an indispensable asset for faculty who wish to initiate diversity discussions in their classrooms and for anyone concerned with addressing these issues more generally.
