Welcome to the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science at Portland State University. We are a community of scholars who are wholly devoted to making a positive difference on our city, region, and beyond. It is not an understatement to say that I am deeply honored to serve as the H. Chik M. Erzurumlu Dean of this wonderful community of students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

The Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science is a wonderful community.  Our faculty and staff work collectively to assure that our over 3,000 students receive the most holistic engineering and computer science educations that one will find anywhere. We want our students to think boldly. We challenge them both inside and outside the classroom, providing a wide range of opportunities for work experience, team challenges, and networking with professionals in their fields. Students across all levels participate in cutting-edge innovative research projects that lead to exciting technological advancements. And when our students graduate and become our alumni, we take the greatest of pride in their accomplishments.

We study, learn, teach, research, and serve in one of the greatest cities in the world, Portland, Oregon. Portland is not only a beautiful, exciting, vibrant city fueled by the natural environment that surrounds it and a citizenry that thinks big, it is also a city that is evolving beyond smart. It is moving toward being a brilliant city, a city that thinks boldly, that leads all others. The Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science is Portland’s partner in technological advancement and workforce provision.

I hope that you will learn more about the extraordinary efforts and accomplishments of our wonderful Maseeh College community.
