Tim was born in Hillsboro, Oregon in 1955 where he attended Hillsboro High School.  Between high school and college, Tim spent a year as an exchange student in Brazil, before attending Claremont McKenna College to gain a degree in economics.  While at Claremont, Tim spent a semester studying in Lima, Peru.  Tim also holds an MBA from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, California.

During Tim’s 27 year career with ESCO, he has held diverse positions including accounting, sales, operations, and general management.  His career has taken him to California, Ohio, Mexico, and Brazil. Tim was based out of Belo Horizonte from 2007 through 2011.  While in Brazil, Tim was responsible for ESCO’s business development in the Latin American Region.  

Tim and his wife, Carmen, have three children and relocated to the Portland area in September of 2012.  Currently, Tim holds the position of Vice President – Americas with ESCO.
